Known best for hosting American Bandstand and the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve which beamed Times Square’s New Year’s Eve celebrations worldwide, Dick Clark has died at the age of 82.
Born Richard Wagstaff Clark, the widely recognized television personality and American radio host, better known as Dick Clark, died yesterday after suffering a heart attack following a medical procedure.
Clark was born November 30, 1929 in Bronxville, New York and died in Santa Monica on April 18.
